The Windows calculator isn’t the greatest feature on your desktop. Its boring, clunky and doesn’t always work the way you would like it to.
Here a 4 calculators that will do a far superior job.

This is the first of 2 calculators that Microsoft giveaway for free, but dont include with Windows for some reason. With this PowerToy Calculator you can graph and evaluate functions as well as perform many different types of conversions.

MICROSOFT CALCULATOR PLUS
This is the second Microsoft calculator which is available to download for free from Microsoft. This calculator should probably be the standard that is included in Windows, yet it isn’t. Not the prettiest of calculators, but it does an excellent job. This calculator can even handle conversions which can be very handy.

MOFFSOFT FREECALC
Moffsoft has basically taken the standard Windows calculator and added some nifty little features to it. Probably the best feature is Tape. Tape allows you to save, print, or clear on simulated history paper. And, you can also have FreeCalc sitting in your icon tray for quick access.

eCALC
eCalc is simple, basic and neat. It has large buttons for easy mouse navigation, and a large character display that is easy to read. This calculator, like most others, can be used via the numeric keypad too but if you prefer using your mouse for entry then this will suit you more.
