Reserve a spot in Heaven or Hell
May 19, 2008
Talk about wierd. Or call it a waste of money, but you can now buy your own ticket to heaven or hell.
Reserve a spot in heaven offers you the opportunity to ‘book’ your ticket into heaven. They guarantee that you will get in. If you dont get in, they give you your money back. No questions asked!
Reserve a spot in Hell offers the exact same thing. A guaranteed spot in hell, or you money back.
If you have loads of cash to waste and you are worried about where you may actually end up, then I think you should buy yourself a ticket before they all go!
Full Tilt Poker Review
May 16, 2008

Launched in July 2004, Full Tilt Poker has rapidly become one of the largest poker rooms on the internet. While this is due in part to the fact that it remains one of the few to accept new US players, and its aggressive marketing campaigns featuring top pros such as Chris ‘Jesus’ Ferguson or Mike ‘The Mouth’ Matusow, the site’s overall quality is the reason why Full Tilt Poker boasts such high traffic at all times of the day.
Software
Full Tilt Poker’s custom software platform is easily customizable and offers one of the most pleasing playing experience available. The software offers a choice of 5 backgrounds, more than 40 avatars all with their own expressions; happy, sad, angry, and surprised. If cartoon avatars aren’t up your alley you can choose to not have them displayed.
The standard features such as player notes, hand statistics, multi-table (up to 8 simultaneous tables), language support for English, French, German, Spanish and Dutch can also be found on Full Tilt Poker.
The software also allows you to customize your preferred games. You can opt to only have cash prize tournaments displayed, or satellites and prize tournaments for example. Full Tilt uses a color coded system to help players easily identify a specific type of tournament.
Ring Games
The ring games at Full Tilt Poker are constantly populated by thousands of players at every limit. The two most populated games are Texas Hold’em and Omaha. During peak hours traffic in ring games can reach as high as 10,500 cash players.
Tournaments
Full Tilt Poker offers tournaments starting at only $1 all the way to $5,000 where you are bound to run into some of the pros. With over $5,000,000 in guaranteed prize pools every week you are sure to find a tournament that fits your budget. Full Tilt also offers several tournament variations, ranging from knock-out bounties, deep stack, buy-backs, and several other promotions such as the Daily Doubles Tournaments where you can win a percentage of the jackpot in two or more tournaments.
Competition
At the low-limit games ($0.05/$0.10 - $0.25-$0.50) the competition is fairly loose and the games are fairly easy to beat. As the stakes increase to $1-$2 and $3-$6 there is a considerable increase in competition and the games become tougher than the average poker site.
If you’re still new to online poker or are not too confident in your skills you should stick to the low limit games or sit and go tournaments where you can hone your skills before moving on to the higher stakes.
Game Variety
Full Tilt Poker offers one of the largest variety of poker games in several different formats which are listed below:
Hold’Em – Offered in pot limit and no limit formats
Omaha H/L – Offered in pot limit format
Omaha Hi – Offered in pot limit format
Stud Hi – Offered in limit format
Stud H/L – Offered in limit format
Stud Hi – Offered in limit format
Razz – Offered in limit format
All the games can be played either in tournaments and sit and go formats or cash games. Sit and gos can be played in heads up, short handed (6 players) or multi table.
Rake
The rake structure is similar to most online poker sites with a somewhat higher percentage. The rake is 5% and the maximum amount is $1 in $0.05-$0.10 to $1-$2 games. The maximum rake amount for higher limit games $2-$4 all the way to the $100-$200 games is $3. Full Tilt poker adopted the “no flop, no drop” rule whereby if there is no flop, no rake is collected.
Sign Up Bonus
Full Tilt Poker offers a very generous 100% initial deposit sign up bonus up to a maximum of $600. The bonus is released in 20% increments for every point you earn. For every dollar that is raked you earn 1 point which is equivalent to $0.06. Unlike other poker sites, Full Tilt offers partial points for rakes of less than $1 allowing you to earn you bonus much faster.
Promotions
Full Tilt Poker is constantly running promotions. For every major poker tournament from the World Series of Poker to the Aussie Millions or a WPT event, Full Tilt will run tournaments with guaranteed seats. There is always a new promotion each month featured on Full Tilt website.
Deposits and Withdrawals
Full Tilt offers the following deposit options:
Visa, MasterCard, Instant Checks, GatorPay, ePassporte, Cash Transfer and Click2Pay.
Withdrawal options:
Bank transfer, GatorPay, ePassporte and check.
Customer Support
Full Tilt Poker offers 24/7 customer support by e-mail only. This is one of the drawbacks to Full Tilt, however their reply time is usually under an hour.
Musicovery Review
May 13, 2008

When you first visit Musicovery, you are welcomed with a panel. Just select your range of options. Starting at the top you choose if you are looking for classic music that you have probably heard before or you can discover new music which you probably have never heard. Next, choose the time frame in years for the age of the music. Choose your mood, Dark, Energetic, Positive or calm. Then its just a matter of choosing you favorite genre or genre’s. Musicovery will do the rest.
Musicovery will load a heap of songs for you and a path to each song. When your song is playing you can approve or hate it. This will help Musicovery choose the right music for you. Personally, I like listening to new Jazz and Musicovery has not let me down yet. I guess you can think of Musicovery as a bit like Pandora, but available globally.
Will It Blend
May 11, 2008
This site keeps me entertained for hours on end. Tom Dickson from BlendTec Blenders loves showing off how good his blenders are.
He basically throws everything and anything into a blender watches it succumb to the power of the blender. Its facinating!
Tom has blended everything including golf balls, stun guns, iPhones and a heap more. And the impressive thing is that Blendtec’s blenders destroys them all without a worry. Tom even looks slightly staisfied as he destroys things.
The site has obviously been created to sell more Blendtec Blenders, and Im sure it works. I would love to buy one but they cost a fortune!
MC Hammers Dance Jam
May 9, 2008
Do you remember MC Hammer? Alot of you younger ones may have never heard of him. MC Hammer was cool. He could dance like no other. “Hammer” even challenged Michael Jackson to a dance off and Michael said “NO!”. Why would Michael Jackson say no? Maybe he was threatened by MC Hammer. Big pants and vests without anything on underneath. The throwing around of cash that eventually saw him go broke? Maybe Michael should have challenged Hammer. Now, MC Hammer is back. No, he isn’t back rapping and dancing on our TV screens, he is back with a website. Yep, MC Hammer is now an internet guru. Dance Jam is like YouTube, but is full of dance videos. A bit like “So, you think you can dance”, but online. And I have to say, there is alot of talent out there. Some of these people know how to move! But, DanceJam isnt just about dancing videos, you can use the site to learn some new moves choosing from the huge amount of tutorials that are available. You can even vote between 2 dancers in a battle. Overall, the site is pretty impressive. It is very clean and easy to navigate. I don’t think Hammer would have coded it himself, but who knows? Check it out!
