Obviously, this is a fake. No third Dark Knight movie has been announced. But this poster does look pretty good.
Who would you like to see play The Riddler?
With the Dark Knight coming out on DVD very soon, I thought it would be a good opportunity to have a look at Batman over the years. Batman fans, prepare to cry.
LEWIS WILSON - 1943
Probably the best way to start the greatest superhero ever. You can only go up from here, cant you? Have a look at this guy. The costume department have done a terrible job. Does he even have a penis? Its like he almost has a camel toe.
ROBERT LOWERY - 1949
Six years on and Batman has let himself go. He has MANBOOBS! What the hell is going on here? I thought over time Batman would get better looking. Why is his utility belt so high up? At least he has more of a bulge in the front of his pants than ol Lewis. Sheesh.
ADAM WEST - 1966
Some say the greatest Batman ever. I think the people who said this were old folk who were finally excited to see Batman in color. They are also the same old folk who are scared of loud noises and crap their diapers when they watch new Batman movies. I admit, I like Adam West as Batman. But there are downfalls. There was way too much gay innuendo, and the Batdance? Come on.
JING ABALOS - 1967
The Philippines are responsible for this guy in the movie “Batman vs Dracula”. I have no idea why Dracula is in Gotham. Maybe he was on a holiday and thought Gotham would be a nice place to visit only to be met by the Batman who ran him and his blood sucking ways out of town. I dont know. I have never seen the movie. Maybe Batman was in Transylvania and was told by the local people of a demon in the hills who drank their blood and had a liking for virgins….
MICHAEL KEATON - 1989
There was quite the gap between the Batman movies. 22 years to be exact. There was a lot of Batman on TV, thanks to Adam West but nothing on the big screen. I remember when Michael Keaton was announced to play Batman. There was a huge uproar from die hard fans. They hated Michael Keaton as Batman, but I think he did an alright job. Maybe I was happy that Batman was finally on the big screen for me to enjoy. I wasnt around when the others were made. Maybe it was the cool car with remote access. Maybe it was Kym Bassinger. Or Jack as the Joker. At the end of the day, it was a good movie and Keaton did a good job.
VAL KILMER - 1995
Val steps into the Batsuit and destroys the Batman. Have a look at this picture of him. It looks like a chick is wearing the suit. His skin is so pure, I just want to caress his soft face. I want to kiss him, kiss him all over. Batman is supposed to be tough damnit. Where is the stubble? Where is the muscle? Val is a pansy and should never have been given the gig.
GEORGE CLOONEY - 1997
Clooney, Clooney, Clooney. Legend. Sucked as Batman, but Clooney is a legend. He gets the ladies. Lots of ladies. He is an Adonis. Chicks dig him and guys want to be him. Look at him in this picture with his batnipples all erect asking to be tweaked. He is thinking to himself “This suit is going to get me laid!!” But as Batman, George, you were terrible. A terrible burden on my eyes and ears. Its not your fault. Warner Bros were milking the franchise and squeezing every last drop out of Batmans erect tit.
CHRISTIAN BALE - 2005
GREATEST. BATMAN. EVER. My opinion. And thats all that matters on this blog as it is my blog! Now, Christian did an awesome job as Batman. He is fit, good looking (yeh, its cool for guy to say another guy is good looking) and kicks ass. Perhaps its because I like the darker side of Batman that we saw in Batman Begins and what we are about to see in The Dark Knight. Maybe its because Christian thinks that Robin is a shit character and he refuses to play Batman if they ever introduce him. Maybe its because there are no nipples on the suit. Who knows. Over the years Batman has evolved of the years to something great. Bring on the Dark Knight DVD Release!!
With the release of The Dark Knight on DVD coming very soon, I thought I would share some of the best Dark Knight Wallpapers that are available on the net.
Full credits to their creators. All of these wallpapers were found on DeviantArt.com
